Sarah Tierney graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in photography in 1996. During her study time there she explored digital media as well as traditional film, and has continued using digital photography and film throughout her career. At present Tierney is doing her MA part time at Dyvenor School of Art, Design and Media and the work in progress was recently exhibited at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. She is also employed by Swansea Institute of Higher Education as a Technician Demonstrator within the School of Photography and Video.
